Pandemic
When an epidemic disease affects a large proportion
of the population and occurs over a wide geographic area such as a section of a
nation, the entire nation, a continent or the world, is called pandemic.
Pandemic diseases: Influenza, acute hemorrhagic conjunctivitis,
syphilis, gonorrhoea, AIDS etc.
