is the art and science of collecting, combining, preserving, preparing and standardizing
drugs and medicines derived from natural and synthetic sources. It also
includes compounding and dispensing medicines.
According to ‘Chamber Dictionary’ –“Pharmacy is the
art, practice or science of collecting, preparing, preserving and dispensing of
medicines”.
