Viruses

Viruses are unique group of living small infectious agents, usually beyond the resolution of a light microscope, possess highest state of parasitism and may be responsible for a wide range of infection. The word is from the Latin ''virus'' referring to poison and other noxious substances, first used in English in 1392.
Viruses consist of genetic materials (DNA or RNA) surrounded by a protective coat of protein. Known as capsid. They are capable of latching onto cells and getting inside them. The complete infective viral practice is known as virion.
